Hot-Dip Galvanised (HDG) panel tanks are a durable and versatile solution for water storage, designed to meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Constructed using hydraulically pressed steel panels with double flanges, these tanks comply with BS 1564:1975 and SS 22:1979 standards. The hot-dip galvanisation process adheres to ISO 1461:2009, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-lasting reliability. HDG tanks are suitable for various applications, including water storage for air conditioning systems, firefighting, and food production when paired with food-grade epoxy coating. Their construction includes mild steel plates, stays, and cleats conforming to BSEN10025:2004, ensuring structural integrity and durability.
These tanks are available in a modular design with panels sized 4ft x 4ft or 1m x 1m and are hot-dip galvanised for maximum protection. Features include hydraulically pressed covers, hot-dip galvanised internal and external ladders (aluminium optional), a 600mm square manhole, and a 100mm insect-proof vent. The tanks are reinforced to withstand seismic activity up to 1.5G and use non-toxic PVC or butyl sealants for leak-proof assembly. Designed for cold liquids with densities of up to 1.0 and temperatures not exceeding 38°C, the tank’s bottom, sides, and ends range from 5mm to 6mm thick, depending on the height. Customisable options, including level indicators and aluminium ladders, enhance their usability for diverse needs.
